Equal treatment from the Republicrats

I loved this cartoon. It so clearly illustrates how you can't trust either the D's or the R's. You need to look at the person and what they stand for. Am I just talking to myself? Does anybody else get it?

Psalm 112

Praise the Lord

Blessed is he who fears the Lord,
Who delights greatly in His commandments.

2 His descendants will be mighty on earth;
The generation of the upright will be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches will be in his house,
And his righteousness endures forever.

4 Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness;
He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
Psalms 112:1-4 (NKJV)

Lest I forget

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
3 Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
4 Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
5 Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
6 The LORD performs righteous deeds And judgments for all who are oppressed.
7 He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel.
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
9 He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
14 For He Himself knows our frame;
He is mindful that we are but dust.
15 As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16 When the wind has passed over it, it is no more,
And its place acknowledges it no longer.
17 But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,
18 To those who keep His covenant And remember His precepts to do them.
19 The LORD has established His throne in the heavens,
And His sovereignty rules over all.
20 Bless the LORD, you His angels,
Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!
21 Bless the LORD, all you His hosts,
You who serve Him, doing His will.
22 Bless the LORD, all you works of His,
In all places of His dominion;
Bless the LORD, O my soul! Psalms 103

I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul will make its boast in the LORD;
The humble will hear it and rejoice.
O magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together. Psalms 34.1-3

I found this on Blog of Bile

A Question Answered:

I often wonder if the folks in Congress are just corrupt, well-meaning but misguided, part of a conspiracy to subjugate humanity, or simply blooming idiots.

I finally have my answer.

How we got Obama

As an American this is SO embarrassing! These people can all vote.

John Malcolm - Where are you now?

I heard today about alleged threats against the boneheads who recently passed that hateful Obamacare bill.

The outrage in their recounting of the news made me want to check it out. As it turns out, the government controlled media is carrying tales of alleged threats. But I can't get too worked up for these people who think they can tread on our freedoms and expect no reprisals. Furthermore, I am doubtful that there is any truth to the allegations. I would sooner believe these are put forth as grist for the government controlled media to besmirch the character of all those who expect the constitution to be followed. No facts are necessary for them to report it as news.

For myself, I would never threaten anyone. It is a terribly stupid move whether the threat is serious or just blowing off steam. In the former case you throw away the element of surprise and expose yourself as a target unnecessarily. In the later, you invite trouble just to vent; not smart.

There were people living in colonial America who sided with the king. John Malcolm was such an individual. He reminds me of these people who don't care about the shredding of the constitution and are not concerned about the tyranny that is enveloping this country. I'll let you read it for yourself, it's very interesting. Here's a link

Thomas Jefferson's words may be instructional for our modern day tyrants.
"There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half for each state. What country ever existed a century and a half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure."
Emphasis added.

This kind of talk is not politically correct, and I'm sure that most of the sheeple we live amongst will find it abhorrent. There are things worth fighting for. There are things worth dying for.

Are you ready to rumble?

Just when you think it can't get worse...

Well it's time to step up to the plate and do what it takes to fire the boneheads in DC. I urge you to identify candidates you can support and send them money for their campaign. For myself, I decided to start by supporting Rand Paul. Here's the link

If you live in Washington State, Please send the attorney general (Rob McKenna) your thanks and encouragement. Here is a link to do that

Please join me in working for better representation. Find out what district you're in, and who is running. Get a mit and get in the game!

Here are some candidates I urge you to support:
Jim Postma
JT Wilcox
Pat Beehler
Gary Alexander or Jim McCune
Republicans This is not a blanket endorsement for the R's. But I sure won't be voting for any D's anytime soon.

Just War

I'm not sure whether people question the justness of a war any more. This troubles me. But I still think it important to consider. The following excerpts are from "Just War" an article by Murray Rothbard. Click here to read the entire article.
...a just war exists when a people tries to ward off the threat of coercive domination by another people, or to overthrow an already-existing domination. A war is unjust, on the other hand, when a people try to impose domination on another people, or try to retain an already existing coercive rule over them.
...
There have been only two wars in American history that were, in my view, assuredly and unquestionably proper and just; not only that, the opposing side waged a war that was clearly and notably unjust. Why? Because we did not have to question whether a threat against our liberty and property was clear or present; in both of these wars, Americans were trying to rid themselves of an unwanted domination by another people. And in both cases, the other side ferociously tried to maintain their coercive rule over Americans. In each case, one side – "our side" if you will – was notably just, the other side – "their side" – unjust.

I share Mr. Rothbard's view of just war. If you are curious which two wars he refers to, please take time to read his article.

The Federal Mafia

How the government illegally imposes and unlawfully collects income taxes.
That's the title of the book available at this link as free download. It is not a joke. The author is at this moment in jail for his resistance. I encourage you to read about it before you blow it off. See what his case was all about. As I said the book is free.
WARNING: If you buck the system, be prepared to bear the cost. Mr. Schiff is (in my opinion) right and he is also in jail.
